Born out of pandemic-era supply chain disruption, SUPPLY DNA saw firsthand how global events inflated product prices, and how those prices stayed artificially high long after factories and freight had recovered.
Working with clients in industries like hardware, construction and wholesaling, the gap was impossible to ignore. Offshore manufacturers had returned to normal production and costs had come down, yet many local suppliers held onto inflated pricing, knowing Australian buyers would keep paying. The margin was being held at the customer's expense, and there was a clear opportunity to do things differently.
We put our own sourcing expertise to the test, developing and importing our own hardware products, supplying directly to builders, and successfully expanding into national retail networks. What started with a single product, Ground Guard, has grown into the GUARD range, now stocked in over 100 Australian stores. Having navigated the entire journey firsthand, we've refined a proven approach to sourcing, manufacturing, pricing, logistics, and distribution. We've since applied that same formula to help other businesses develop products, reduce costs, and unlock new opportunities.
